Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who has been leaving an imprint on the small screen. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. The family moved to Texas to pursue the career of a physical therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas just a few months prior to moving to Orlando Florida. She took part in a wide range of roles in acting, such as local independent films and commercials. In spite of the minor role, she found acting as her true interest. She moved into New York and in 2001 she got her first acting gig on the daytime soap All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000 she had small roles appearing on JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her debut major series was on The Mountain. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain was lucky to be able to appear with a variety of famous TV celebrities including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget, and Mitch Pilegget. Her most well-known character was Law & Order, where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was on for 85 of the episodes. Her next role was on the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. The character she played earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she was awarded an Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then chosen as a recurring character on CSI Miami. She played Marisol Deko as Horatio the wife of actor Michael Caine. The most recent television appearance was on NBC's somewhat dramatic dark show Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After only two episodes the show was canceled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has a nationality of Italian as well as having a 10 year old younger brother named Cory. Milano was raised in a conservative, religious family. Milano launched her acting career aged seven when her babysitter joined her for an audition. Out of more than a thousand applicants, she was chosen among only four. Milano is featured in TV commercials, off Broadway productions and in the American premier of Jane Eyre.
