Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actor for more than twenty years. Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her other roles include Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting while attending Preparatory School. In the late 70's, she and her family moved to Ohio. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre and also spent time at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career in Chicago and worked in theater role for several years. Later, she relocated to Hollywood and began acting in TV shows and films. Anna was the first to get a major role as Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes from 1992. She continued to appear as guest stars on a number of television movies and shows like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue until the late 90's when she was cast in a role that she reprised as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years on Deadwood's season two. She was cast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully, the Deadwood film and other films were also starring her. Gunn has also appeared on stages in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. in 2022 Gunn also played in a 4-part audio-play series known as "Numbered days". Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's life tale and the tension in the relationship he has with Skyler is mirrored in the show.
